Why Keep Blogging? 7/3/22

I keep thinking I should end the blog, but then I remember it is the only safe place to keep sharing about Robbie without bothering anyone. I always worry when I post on Facebook that my friends might be tired of my Robbie posts or wonder why my grief continues to be so strong. I know at some point I will pull the plug on the blog, but for now, I will keep blogging.

Here is a picture of Robbie taken in 2008 on our summer vacation in Door County, WI. Robbie always enjoyed going there with us. Sweet memories ❤

He was healthy and happy. 😊

Oh Cindy, I’m one of your friends who think you should totally keep blogging. Your grief is your grief. There is no timetable for your grief journey. Your journey is your journey. And putting words down with favorite pictures may sometimes remind you of happy memories, as well as being reminded of the sad memories. It’s definitely a safer place than Facebook, as people there are just scrolling through and may or may not even see your posts. Like, I don’t even know if you post on FB, because my FB time is spent on Molly’s page or other pet pages! 😍 So keep journaling on your blog as long as the words from your heart need a soft place to land…
