We survived a long day of appointments at MD Anderson. This is an X-ray of Robbie’s leg. We are all emotionally and physically exhausted.
We don’t know a lot of new information. His bone marrow isn’t functioning correctly and they plan to do a bone marrow biopsy. They aren’t going to be able to stick with the tested and proven methods for osteosarcoma because the drugs are too hard on the bone marrow.
Robbie is starting with a different chemo on Wednesday at Anderson. Treatment is going to last 3 or more months. It all depends on how Robbie handles the treatment. Just like before it will mean a week in the hospital and two weeks out depending how it goes.
We are looking for a place to rent in Houston. If anyone has any ideas, please let us know.
